ExpertOption Scam Broker? Review Uncovers Withdrawal Problems & Complaints

Dale

What we mostly expect from a broker is an easy-going Demo account, a high level of transparency and quick and fuss-free withdrawals. Our followers seem more inclined towards ExpertOption because the popularity of the platform is increasing steeply…

ExpertOption Broker Website Screenshot

Established in 2014, ExpertOption quickly entered the higher ranks mostly for its transparency and a free Demo Account to help the beginners. The best part is that the management has a strict policy about the regulations and it doesn’t entertain the clients from the regions it is not authorized to operate in.

Our followers have frequently asked for a reliable review so here we are. The major concern should be the ExpertOption scam complaints and public warnings and we’ve spent sufficient time in evaluating the most credible sources. Before digging any further, it is important to walk through the brief introduction to the company.

ExpertOption Review Summary

Cost: $250+

Recommended: No (See Our Top Ranked Legit Program Here)

Rating: 0/100

Summary: ExpertOption is still active & welcoming new members (from certain countries) to their trading platform, however their license has merely been issued by a private regulator (not an official body) and therefore we do NOT advise trading with ExpertOption as such a tactic is common of a scam binary options broker. If you happen to have already found yourself scammed by ExpertOption then continue reading to see how you can get your money back.

Quick Navigation

We appreciate that whilst you may be wanting to read the full review of ExpertOption here, you may also just have came looking for some specific information – and so we’ve put together some links below that will help you quickly navigate through our review with ease.

ExpertOption Background

EXPERTOPTION LTD. owns and operates ExpertOption. The broker was introduced in 2014.

  • Address: Saint Vincent and Grenadines, 1510, Kingstown, Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre.
  • Registration # 22863 IBC 2015.

As per the Terms & Conditions section, Vestede Ltd. (Incorporation # 116061) serves the platform with payment solutions.

  • Address. Suite 3, 2nd Floor, Icom House, 1/5 Irish Town, Gibraltar.

Let’s not forget that you can open a real account by depositing as low as $50. In addition, before opening a real account, feel free to try the Demo Account that facilitates you with $10k virtual money. The Demo account doesn’t require registration which is a good sign. $25 is the minimum investment per trade.

The website looks exceptionally good. It offers all important indicators, trading lines, and technical tools. You can turn On/Off the trader’s deals as it pleases you. Then comes the great news, ExpertOption features 4 chart types which include the popular candlestick and time-frames. Moreover, you can easily split the charts to continuously monitor two different assets at the same time.

To make things easier, ExpertOption allows you to view the full-screen. We rarely see the full-screen mode with online trading platforms.

Note. ExpertOption doesn’t offer its services to the citizens of the following countries:

  • Canada
  • USA
  • Switzerland
  • European Economic Area
  • New Zealand
  • Japan
  • Israel
  • Australia
  • Sudan
  • Puerto Rico
  • Korea

It is suggestive of the fact that the management is trying its best to keep things highly transparent.

If you are a fan of digital currencies, we have a good news for you. This platform offer Bitcoin, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, IOTA, Ripple, Zcash, Monero, Dash, and Zcash. The platform also offers Crypto / Paper Currency pairs as well.

Is ExpertOption Regulated?

Financial Market Relations Regulation Center (FMRRC) regulates ExpertOption. We are really not convinced because this is a non-governmental regulator.

  • Certification # 0395 AA Vv0113.

In addition, some sources advertise that the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) regulates ExpertOption but we failed to find any hint about that.

ExpertOption Complaints

As soon as you start trading, the bonuses lock and you have no way to withdraw your funds. On the other hand, we found that the ExpertOption doesn’t really offer bonuses and we have confirmed it by contacting the Live Chat.

The regulatory authority is weaker and we are doubtful about the effectiveness of such a private entity.

The number of complaints is low for the reason that the broker is not accepting client from the EU, Canada, and the US. We didn’t manage to find any serious complaints about the account closure or failed withdrawals.

ExpertOption Withdrawal

ExpertOption entertains withdrawals via Skrill, Neteller, Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, FasaPay, Perfect Money, and Wire Transfer. The good news is that just 10$ is the minimum withdrawal limit. Most of the brokers don’t push is below 100$. This platform processes the withdrawal in just a couple of working days.

Is ExpertOption a Scam?

The platform is transparent but we don’t like the choice of a private regulatory authority. Yes, we are convinced with the transparency level but still, we need not overlook the possible ExpertOption scam alerts in the near future. At the moment, the team has done well to notify the visitors about the countries that are not entertained by this platform. We do hope that the management thinks seriously about acquiring a license from a governmental regulator.

Our Verdict on ExpertOption

Thumbs DownIt is a tricky call right now because ExpertOption looks transparent and reliable and it has served well since its introduction 5 years ago. The only thing that restricts us from recommending ExpertOption is the license from a private regulator. It is going to be your call! We like everything about this platform but the legal status must have been a bit more convincing.

Scammed By ExpertOption? Get Your Money Back!

Whilst at the time of writing this review we haven’t seen many complaints about people claiming to have been scammed by ExpertOption, ultimately the platform is only licensed by a private regulator & from our experiences this has been a common trait of a scam broker… So sadly we would not surprise if you have actually found yourself scammed by ExpertOption.

But if you do get scammed what do you do? How do you get your money back?

Well you have landed in exactly the right place (if you have been scammed) because we have put together a free money reclaim guide which shows you step by step exactly how you can get your money back from a binary options scam – and it has been proven to work.

To date the guide has actually helped thousands of people to successfully reclaim their funds from a scam & as we say, the guide is entirely free.

So if you have been scammed we highly recommend you check out it – and you can get access to it right now by clicking here.

There’s a Much Better Way To Make Money…

The truth is that here at Stopping Scammers we don’t like trading – not even with the most legitimate brokers – and the reason for that is because frankly we hate the risk of losing money… Especially when there are literally so many other legitimate ways to make good money that don’t involve any risk at all.

You see after carrying out so many investigations into various opportunities we’ve actually come across several that do indeed work, and work VERY well… However there has been 1 opportunity in particular that has stood out from all of the rest and as a result we’ve given it the name of our number 1 recommendation.

So if you’re still looking to make extra money then be sure to check out our number 1 recommendation by clicking the link below:

  1. I lost 100,000 US dollars to Trade12. I have tried and tried to ask for my money back with no results. They don’t respond. They ignore you. I was stupid to put in so much. I lost all my pension money and now I am broke because of Trade12. Their pre-markets are not real. All they want is your money and you will not see it again. I am so depressed. They play a real number on you when you want your money back because they will ask more and more to get it back, and in the end, they end up laughing at you. Many have committed suicide because of Trade12, but they don’t care. They are heartless.
